Low Ropes Low Ropes are a series of group activities that vary in mental and physical challenges. It is tailor-made to focus on the needs, desired goals and physical abilities of your group. These goals include but are not limited to: *Fore-Thought & Critical Thinking *Increase problem solving skills *Communication Skills *Deal with failure *Developing individual leadership skills *Learn to share leadership responsibilities *Increase self-confidence *Learning to take risks *SuccessA three hour program is lead by trained facilitators that focus both on the individual and group. The facilitator will begin your program with team work activities followed by trust-building skills and will conclude with group problem-solving elements in the woods. Lutherdale highly recommends groups to participate in Low Ropes before High Ropes. Our course can accommodate participants of many different ability levels. High Ropes Built 20 to 40 ft high in beautiful oak trees, the High Ropes challenge Course is a great tool to encourage personal achievement. As Low Ropes focuses more on the team, High Ropes focuses more on the individual accomplishments. Group members became coaches that encourage fellow climbers to reach their personal goals that they set at the beginning of each element. Participants are cheered on as they maneuver across cables, ropes, and swings. Success is not measured by completion of the element, but rather attempting and trying your best. There are several challenges that have to be accomplished with a partner. Climbing Tower Our 3 sided 40 ft climbing tower teaches many lifetime skills such as goal setting, perseverance, teamwork, and encouraging others. In addition, the feeling of accomplishment is instrumental in building self-worth and confidence. Our 400 ft Zip-line off the top of the tower is a camp favorite. Climbers will be taught basic climbing techniques, equipment use, and commands. Lutherdale is very excited to now be handicap accessible on our Tower and Zip Lime!
